nah, there is already the comparison of the buffs and damage output which is given by these characters. Bronya's buffs are strong, she's still competitive. She might be not as a comfortable and gimmicky, but she doesn't lose to the point she's not playable comparing to Sunday. Moreover, she has her unique possibilities with eidolons. And she buffs attack, as well as sparkle, so in comps with high base attack it will be even more relevant. And yes, if you give both Bronya and Sunday his LC, they will have a very similar outcome.

I will admit this is the first time I’ve been concerned about power creep, because up until this point, I felt it was blown way out of proportion. I do still feel it’s fixable though. Sparkle for example, could have her time in the light again once the next limited Quantum DPS comes out, or the next limited DPS that requires a lot of skill points comes out. Easy fix, puts Sparkle back in the Meta, and everybody wins because people will pull on her banner if they want the best out of the new shiny DPS. Sadly, the Star Rail team has been hyper focusing not just on new characters, but the same two teams for almost a year. And they seem to setting up the same pattern with a new remembrance path. We have not gotten a limited Quantum sense 1.0 😳 not gotten a skill point hungry DPS send Dan Hung IL, and DOT has been ignored since 2.0. If the star rail team continues this pattern as they move on to remembrance, that may be what drives me to put away the game for good, because it’s not fun when a team you invested in is completely forgotten about. But looking at the numbers and how each unit works, power creep is an easy fix. A solid DOT support here, a Quantum DPC there, that’s all it would take to shake up the meta and give their players faith that even if their favorite unit is power crept, it doesn’t mean that they will never shine again.

The Star Rail powercreep can absolutely be tamed, but the team needs to be aware of this problem before they do anything else. It’s understandable that they would focus on a certain mechanic for a while as it sells well, just be patient and I guarantee you they will move onto your favorite archetype!
