Norton my best friend hunts middle GA and just shot a massive buck a week ago--11 pointer. He wasn't seeing deer at all until he figured out GA had a bumper acorn crop. The whole hunt club moved into the hardwoods on acorns and they've taken down two monsters since gun season started. Hope this helps.

Thanks for another good video. Dogs........ Neighbors know during the year I will walk them back to their house to keep them out of the road. BUT...... During hunting season they better know how to read a GPS or the 7 mm mag is going to be the last big dog to bark.

Thank you! First time seeing those two. The brown was sitting at the camp when I got back that night! Friendly dog, blind in one eye.

Hey do i have to tag bucks in GA. Some guys told me no just report the kill. But some have told me i have to?
@NortonOutdoors4 жыл бұрын
There isn’t a physical tag that goes on the deer like in other states. You just have to write it on your harvest log on your license and then report it to the GaDNR though the app or by calling it in. I just always report it with the app.

It seems like all those deer spotted you in that stand. They were all very uncomfortable

Yep, the tree I usually climb here died. The tree I climbed this time I’m just out in the open sticking out like a sore thumb. I cleaned up another tree when I got down that has some cover around it.

Lol! I agree. I’ll try to cut it back. Never been told I talk a lot, it’s always been the opposite.
