What an extraordinary woman and artist she was. The world is definitely a lesser place without her in it.

I was on the the Divinyls "I Touch Myself Tour"..I did wardrobe. Chrissy was a force of nature and a true entertainer. I happened to have a dream about her the other night and just now remembered so decided to google her. Really devastating. MS with Cancer...wonder if this was all triggered by Lyme Disease. I feel deeply for Charlie's loss. You can see the very interesting yet cosmic connection between them. RIP Chrissy.

No, she had MS and cancer, it has nothing to do with Lyme. It's tiring to say that everything is Lyme or fibromyalgia. 😑

I remember Chrissy on stage at the Playpen nightclub in Cairns. Her stage outfit was a school girls uniform, with a very short skirt. She carried a silver hand mirror and would reflect the light from it onto people in the audience. She could be very seductive with anything, even when she caressed the microphone stand. When she was on stage, you couldn't take your eyes off her----she just had that presence. She was the one of the World's most powerful women of rock.

To hear a song that sounds to most people vulgar, not knowing the backstory, and to find out it had a completely different meaning can be overwhelming! When I found out that Crissy Amphlett actually died of breast cancer and the song, "I touch myself" was released before her passing, gave a different light to the song, and to know that it is the official anthem OF breast cancer is truly a comfort!! She is in a better place with the angels, HER angels as her beautiful voice carries to this day! We love and miss you, Chrissy! Rest in peace, Love!

The Late Chrissie Amphlett was a beautiful, talented woman, and when I saw The Divynls live, they were a great Aussie band. It’s so sad Chrissie is no longer with us, but thanks for the great music. R.I.P.

So sad to see her like that but life is not just...We have her performance on youtube. For me she was the best voice in rock music with a great band of all time. It's seems so simple to sang like that mix of sweetness and rage. R.I.P. to that goddess of Olympus of music. Even Aphrodite is jealous of her.

Sometimes I wonder about Charlie. I will put this here but make no judgement. Come to your own conclusions: Chrissie left us 21 April 2013. She was in chronic pain that progressively got worse and that was commented on in this interview. Charlie’s daughter to Adria Petty (Tom Petty’s daughter) was born on 21 August 2013. In 2019 the Divinyls were to tour Australia but it was unexpectedly cancelled. What preceded that was a very public outcry from Charley saying it wasn’t right due to the timing, her memory, suffering and his support as her husband.
