I found the Divinyls on accident. Back in 1984 on a late night show of foreign music acts. Her in a baby doll dress with ripped stockings and smeared lipstick, singing Boys In Town, I believe. I was done for. She was a force and her voice! So many dimensions! Rest well Crissy ❤️

I was an American living in Australia in 1980, and I saw them before they even recorded an album. They were awful, and fitted the Australian environment perfectly. An angry rock band with chips on their shoulders entertaining angry people with chips on their shoulders. I returned to the States in 1982, and saw the video for ''Boys In Town'' and ''Only Lonely'' on MTV, and thought to myself ''I can't even get away from this fcking band''.

She was an amazing person, an amazing singer and an incredible soul. There are so many women out there who are physically gorgeous but who have no idea how to actually be sexy, she could have given lessons on sex appeal because it just came naturally to her. Mark McEntee is a legend for supporting Chrissie and her vision, but I also think he was intelligent enough to see her potential, and they were quite a team. Thank you to them both for bringing us this wonderful experience that is the Divinyls. More power to him for letting her stand in her power. Mark really believed in her and was one of the only people who saw Chrissie for who she really was, even beyond the "rock star" potential and image. Oh, and I've got to say, Mark McEntee's guitar riffs are amazing..

I really admire Chrissy and Mark's patience in having to deal with such a patronising, condescending interview in the form of the fuddy-duddy McMullin and his inane line of questioning. It's very typical of not only the garbage that is 60 Minutes, but also all of the lamestream presenters on network television. I'm surprised any celebrity wastes their time on such programs.

Yeah, the mainstream media in Australia never really had their finger on the pulse when it came to anything in the arts. She was an icon and respected all over the world as being one of the great frontwomen of all time.
