Loved watching the kangaroos over in UK in 80s90s ... So much class.....and glad so many have graced our game over here .... I said then in the 80s we would never beat them in a series......and thr still a different class .. To much skill with ball in hand and know how to control a game ...always have to much strike power

Mal Meninga , What a player , His career was absolutely miraculous. All black captain Buck Shelford and Mal Meninga were both cut from the same cloth

4th 0ct 1989 widnes beat Canberra raiders to become world champions.seems a long time ago. some class on the pitch at old Trafford that night.

Great to hear Big Mal talk about the Kangaroo tours of that era. Gee they were great teams, full of talent. I was so happy when Mal was made an immortal, it should have happened before Joey, who also deserves it, but the timing was wrong.
