Is it just me or is Ratio not really as bad as pokke makes him out to be ? I still use Acheron, Clara and Ratio and i would say at least Ratio E0S0 is closer in power level to E0S1 Acheron than he is Clara E0S1(Yunli LC), i managed to do a 4cycle with him hypercarry on 1st half when its off element and one of the enemies is img res, i would say thats impressive for a 1.x unit in that regard, this new MoC proved to me that Acheron should be a T0 unit since any time there's 3+ enemies present ( which has been almost every MoC ever ) on either side she stomps, i feel like the only reason her performance drops in the data is because not many people pulled JQ dragging her actual performance down.

The problem is it’s expensive. You need jq, his lightcone, and Acheron’s lightcone. For similar investment, you could just go Feixiao, Yunli, and now new remembrance dps. So I think for new players Acheron is not recommended. Most likely Aglaea will powercreep Acheron in lightning

Ratio is indeed closer to Acheron then Clara. That said, you need to have him (and his team) cracked for him to be comparable to stronger dps. At this point tho, a lot of it comes down to team strength. Its not just the carry that needs to be invested now, its also the rest of the team and needs to be strong.

The only ones that changed to superbreak is sometimes blade but now that Sunday came out you can run blade with him, and Jade there's obv himeko but that's really the only one that got an upgrade from superbreak, unless I'm missing someone. I see them staying in 0.5 as well, along with fugue since there's not much of a difference between the two unless your using boothill or rappa

Power creep is inevitable, but no way an E2 S1 Sparkle cant clear end game content for you. Even with an older DPS like DHIL, that should be enough to get your jades. However as Pokke points out, if you run 2 older non meta teams, you may be screwed. But otherwise, at least on one side, an E2 S1 Sparkle should be performing just fine. Maybe not 0 cycle outstanding like a Robin, but good enough. I agree tho; her niche should be taken advantage of more from Hoyo

Literally all they have to do is release units that really want to hoard and use a lot of skill points, and boom. Sparkle is meta. Never assume its "impossible" to bring up a character. This applies even to some of the worst DPS out there like freakin Arlan. 1 character can absolutely shake everything up (Jing Yuan was awful and now borderline meta thanks to Sunday. Im sure many thought it was impossible for him too.) Just offering perspective.

I have e1s1 jingliu. I pulled e0s0 sunday. Using bronyas lightcone, I was able to 0 cycle moc 11 (ice side), my 1st 0 cycle since 1.x patches with jingliu. It was ok my first try too. Not sure who else would be the premier ice dps as of now, she deserves same tier as dhil and Clara, t1 is fine

The only counter I have to Pokke's argument about them releasing a DPS with 1000 Energy, what's stopping them from releasing a better Huohuo that summons something that intrinsically increases energy regeneration. I'm thinking similar to Gallagher's and Luocha's ULT where its a permanent energy regen buff as long as that summon is on the field. Everything else can be healing and more buffs like atk.

I'm really not worried about a big falloff for Super Break. DoT never got a dedicated sustain, and never got a dedicated support, so it was always just using supports and sustains that were explicitly designed for other team comps where you get to take advantage of all the buffs they provide, rather than just a piece of their kits. Its ceiling was much lower than Break. Super Break and Follow Up have a lot of long-term legs because they've designed so many different characters explicitly for that playstyle. DoT basically got 2/4ths of a team, in total, ever, expressly designed for it.

There will always be power creep; it kinda has to happen. A Seele shouldnt be on the same level as Feixiao for example. It is what it is. But just because a unit isnt tier 0 meta, doesnt mean it is unplayable. Hell, I still use Sampo for my Kafka team. Black Swan is obviously better in every way, yet I still clear with max stars. You dont HAVE to play tier 0 meta to clear end game, as long as you invest smart and play well. However, if you only play non meta on both sides of the last floor of content? Yeah...without a Sig investment or maybe an Eidolon or 2, expect to struggle hard. It is what it is

Prydwens obvious biases are so apparent, and it's the reason why I don't even look at their tier lists anymore. The fact that jinyuan moved up 4 tiers to T0 in PF because of sunday is just ridiculous, and then Jingliu moves down from T1.5 to T2 even though Sunday is a direct buff for her since he helps her immensely in keeping up the transmigration state with his ult. Im not saying Jingliu should have moved up, but the fact that Jingyuan moved up as much as he did, yet jingliu does down is just nonsensical, and it's obvious whoever makes these tierlists has a hard on for Midyuan. I use Sparkle with my Acheron team, would Sunday be better if I don't really need the skills points sparkle gives?

Prydwen: We have 2 characters in Tier 0 because there's 2 sides. Also Prydwen: 4 characters in Tier 0 DPS PF idk, what's the point of having these kinds of tier lists when you are just going to throw a whole bunch into the top tier? Look at Tiers 1 to 2. They have the same number of characters in these 3 tiers as Tier 0. Gepard > Bailu simply because he fulfills the shield niche, of which there are only 2 (not including FMC and March). Those pesky soda pop monkeys aren't going die without them killing themselves. In the context of the current cycle though, I'm not sure I don't recall them appearing in the higher levels of MoC. Perhaps in the lower levels? Having several tiers for characters at a specific "breakpoint" (i.e., E2 DHIL) sounds good, although that seems like a lot of work. Obligatory message as an E0S0 player (with the exception of standard banners): still able to clear content just fine. The buffs actually mean something, since I'm forced to use them. Frustrating, but more fun.
