Do the waistcoat as reversible with both fluffy fabrics!! So you can wear either way but still be super warm and cuddly with both fabrics!! 👌 x

I think the Ruby dress would be so cozy to wear if made out of sweatshirt fabric. Your Pogonip is so cute. I'm so impressed you were able to get button holes in that fabric. I hope Ruby has a quick recovery. Thanks for sharing.

What a shame about the hat, the pattern looked promise. Loving the dress. It's the sleeves, I do love a balloon sleeve 🤩

Hi Liz great to see you and hear all your amazing plans. Re the fluffy waistcoat why not make it a reversible and get the best of both fabrics in one amazingly warm and snuggly top? Keep making ❤❤

Lots of fab ideas and fabrics. .I would make two waistcoats as each fabric is so beautiful. I'm not sure which way your going to join the bobble waistcoat before you sew on the bobbles.You could put cardboard or old cereal packets between the layers so when you do sew on the bobbles the stitching won't show on the inside. The cardboard is used as a stiffener to make it more stable when sewing on the bobbles.You do not leave the cardboard in the waistcoat. The hat and scarf remind me of a pattern my mum and gran used to make me the same when I was younger.I am now seventy so it would now be a vintage pattern . For a more pronounced effect you could use wool to sew the blanket stitch around the edges.You can buy a sharp pointed thicker needle with a large eye to make it easier to sew. Whatever you decide to create I know it will be another unique and beautiful garment.

When cutting out fluffy material I overlock around the edge of each piece before sewing it up.

Your pogonip is beautiful. It's not a pattern I want to sew up as it is too cropped for me, but loving everybody's makes 🤩

Could you make reversible super cozy waistcoat maybe? I don’t know how achievable it is. If you use a zip you might need to use reversible one. 😊

With the hat it looks like they haven’t poked their corners out quite as much. Can you poke them back in to the inside so they’re not so pointy? It’s really cute though, hopefully it finds a loving owner! 😊
@jaynefederici914011 ай бұрын
I thought that too. Maybe you could sew the seams again and rounding the corners?

Liz, for the hat couldn’t you just stitch the seam in a curve to avoid the corners?

If you bind the edges of the waistcoat would it be reversible so you would have 2 😊

Oh the pogo ip is fantastic! Did you have trouble sewing in the kangaroo pocket? I sewed one on some fur backed jersey recently and it was challenging! I love your pullover

Can you make the waistcoat reversible? Then you don’t have to decide!

Another great vlog 😊. I wonder if the waistcoat might be too bulky using both fleeces?? I think 2 separate ones would be better and more useable when the weather is only slightly chilly, say in the late spring/earlier summer?
@antoniaburlingame592111 ай бұрын
Hi Liz. As usual you have a great collection of makes and plans! Regarding the very furry fleece fabrics, a vest with double fur I think might be too bulky and also too hot to wear. I like your alternative idea of making two vests, each with a lighter lining fabric. The other thing is the weight -- those nice furry fleeces are often really heavy; your neck and shoulders might really thank you by the end of a day for two separate vests instead of one heavy one, Antonia

What a shame about the hat. The fabric is lovely. I am thinking a nice cosy neck warmer and some mittens.
