It’s hard to explain to non-gun enthusiast why we love firearms. One of the biggest attractions to me about a firearm is the beauty of the design and the fine craftsmanship and the beauty of the machined parts and their functionality. It’s a beautiful thing to listen to you work that action, Hickok.

I have been a fan of Hickock for years now but kind of stepped away the last year or so. I'm just checking back in and the comments are now filled with you "Patriots" nutjobs. I'm not even a leftist whatsoever, but the extreme right "Patriot" nonsense is just as toxic. I miss those days when I could just watch Hickock shoot guns. Politics is a cancer that has overwhelmed the country...

I thought I'd look up when Hickok said that Tennessee was home to Loretta Lynn. I checked Wikipedia and Loretta Lynn passed away earlier this month on October 4, 2022, at the age of 90. She passed away in her sleep. It is hard to believe that time just keeps rolling by and people we once knew of have passed on to be with Our Lord forever.

It’s my understanding that after adapting Ballistol in the 1800’s the Wehrmacht instructed soldiers to use it to treat minor injuries till the Second World War. I have used it since learning about it from your videos in 2014 (when I first started watching KZbin). Being from the same generation as yourself I have a variety of firearm actions but I never obtained classic single shot rifles. Would love to have a Remington Rolling Block or Winchester High Wall.

For what it's worth good sir, I appreciate these videos. For me this rectifies something that happened in the past for me. And action I didn't take but this here is a second chance. I had a bolt action rifle toy as a kid among others and it was a blast. Right now I am collecting cap guns, nerf guns and airsoft because where I live real guns are more of a private affair and not easily got, so I make do. Your videos had helped in sparking a greater interest for me and I will remember you for your SAA guns, but also for the fact that you are a regular gun enthusiest, as in you regularlar apply yourself and also you remind me of Revolver Ocelot from Metal Gear Solid. You sir have made a difference in me life and I wanna thank you for it. Have a great rest of your day and God bless you!
