My dad had a Browning BAR when I was growing up. It was in .270 with a wide view Redfield scope. It was very accurate. It would print 3 shot 1inch groups all day long. Dad harvested a couple of Colorado Mule deer and Kansas Whitetails with that rifle. This had a much longer barrel than this. Beautiful rifle. God bless all here.

Sorry to hear about Slam fire. They do become a family member. We recently lost our 19 year old cat and then a 20 year old conure which could say a few words and both felt like losing a family member so I understand. Slam fire's appearances will be missed.

Yeah, I got cheated out of another decade with him, and he got cheated out of more time. I recall not looking forward to seeing the guy grow so old and weak that he could not jump up onto the things he wanted to explore. Other than his secret heart problem and the blood clot, he seemed fine.
@charlesdudek7713Күн бұрын
@hickok45 That was the case with our cat, Lily. She was fine up until 18 and then that last year she had multiple health problems crop up and there was no quality of life left for her so I had to have her put down, which was an unwanted decision. Anyway Slam fire appearances will be missed by us all and my condolences to you and family.

My dogs name was Bugera, my brther "Skip" I greaved so hard for Bugera it was almost a year latter that i thought jc my brothers dead. I realized that the animals in my life were more important to me then the people and i really had to dig deep to figue that out. Im a loner but ive never truley been alone ive always had a dog with me everywere i went. I am not looking forward to it.... but we just try and enjoy and appreciate every day that we do have. That BAR is too cool. You had me on Bud's looking them up lol. Had my Brittney dog pal Buddy. He and I worked 10 1/2 years together in the truck - daily. When I was having too much of a good day, he'd try to be a bad dog (he wasn't). When I was having a tough day, he'd insist I pet him and do something to make me laugh. Our furry friends make us better people. It took over a year for me to stop opening the rear truck door or holding the door open a bit too long, as I stepped outside. I still miss him, and am forever a better man because of him.
