Take off the bumber and deaden it too. While your at it seal up the trunk cabin air pressure vents and add additional weatherstripping to the trunk seal. Also deaden the tail lights and add Tesa tape to all the bulb socket connections.

I just did my yukon me and my uncle helped me I gutted out the truck seats and did the floors and everywhere else and I can't believe how amazing it sounds inside and out total difference but my next step is doing the sealing of the truck next damn sound deadener ain't cheap but it's worth it nice work bruh💯🤘🏿🔥🔥

Bro I just did this to my trunk,rear deck and under the back seat I used silass 120 mil so far I have used 150 square feet of deadener in just that area trying to get ready for the new setup I just ordered a new Deafbonce AAK 6k and 15 Incriminator audio TYRANT rated for 5K RMS with a down 4 sound HD3 single 15 enclosure going to hook it up to the new SCIB bank and see what it does at 15.8 major overhaul on the car in the past two months and as I said I have been using the 120 mil my trunk has 3 layers on it and the rear deck has two layers on top and two on bottom it takes a lot to get it right I'm estimating around 300 square feet to do the entire car up to the dash

Remember when using products like this...you only have to cover open spots of bare sheet metal and places that vibrate. Try doing the same thing under the subs and rear deck tray.. you'll also find the heat shield for gas tanks rattle too. Ya vids are getting really good man keep it up

Ditch the license plate cover it helps alot, the cover cause most of the rattle. just screw in the plate without the cover. add deadening to the 4 corners of the plate that helps it not touch the metal at all. The damn plate make most of the noise.

Sound deadner makes a huge difference inside, I have 4 layers of 80 mil kilmat just on my roof, slapping ✊!!! I’m also running the SFB 8k, walled 3 Psi platform 2 18’s, 75 ah cmax, tuned to 29hrz, doing a 157.3, amp puts out, I’ve been using it for over a year, hard demos and USACI comps🤙

if you don't want to take out your headliner to put up dead mat .....heres what i do - Im drillin 6 small holes 3/16 and spray foam about 5 cans into my headliner ..seal it with gorilla tape for 2-3 days let it dry real good and then take the tape off and use BONDO to seal the holes real tight and sand it smooth - my top is like solid ROCK now and no hassle of takin out that headliner..

I was gonna buy that stuff, but saw on review it was only like 55mil thick when it claimed to be 80mil or something. So I use this noico stuff that is true 80mil and works great! Like $70 for 36sqft. That stuff is the same stuff that Parker kid used in his vehicle.

@@BassAddict91 read 3M double-sided tape the strips not the roll says like extra tough or extra something but not the roll and it's got to be the 3M brand put that shit on your plate and use isopropyl alcohol to clean the surface on your plate and on your car before you stick it on and make sure it's not super hot out do it in the morning or later at night

@@BassAddict91 no problem just put like three strips on your plate like three four inches long like I said make sure you clean it with isopropyl alcohol it's like two bucks and then push and hold it for at least a minute or two to make sure the double-sided tape holds but that's strong stuff probably the best stuff you can get you can get it at Walmart but it's got to be the 3M and not the roll shit
