I think "Kirby 06" refers to "Milky Way Wishes" which is the 6th game in Super Star's collection. It's also where Marx makes his debut.

The familiar glasses could refer to Carl being shot. The glasses break near the left eye and it could be possible that Carl wears glasses from working as a beta tester and constantly being in front of screens all day as a job. Also, the boss says they're familiar would would also make sense for it to be Carl's glasses from working directly before Donny and perhaps Donny replaced him and worked in the same place.

I think this creator is dealing with some harsh stuff quite young and may be using this to tell an allegory for their struggles. Videogames can be used as an escape and so can both ideologies and substances as well as work and following parental authority rather than becoming a functional adult. 1: carl + marx = Karl Marx, creator of Communism... something in stark contrast to the Capitalism of big companies like Nintendo 2: addiction themes: the pink pills. There is a current dumb trend with, mostly kids, taking too much of a certain pink anti allergy medication that results in literal delerium and in extreme cases depression and life threatening situations either from innebriation or simply taking too much for the body to handle. Kids take it on a dare to see "entities" and a whole mythos is being built up around it which is quite dumb since I did this stuff 15 years ago and there was no hat man or nonsense like that. I just sat in a bathroom for hours thinking I was talking to people who weren't there. 3: possible addiction theme, tmk could allude to too much K as in the substance... I don't want to get into specifics but those who look into those pink things then discover the cough one and find out the cough one is a dissociative and so is K so there's a pipleline of sorts. Delerium and dissociation. Escapism. Anger at the capitalist world and the bickering between the left and right. Who knows... Food for thought.

heres some things that i think clear up with the gaps or unexplained situations of the characters. 1: the glasses might have belonged to karl because the left part of the lens is the only part thats damaged. 2: meta knight could have killed/shot karl because meta knight is in the car. and there was a car in the scene where karl got shot. --------------------------------------------------------------------- for now,these are the only theories i have about this.
