My story is somewhat simmilar .. I've started learning guitar 2 years ago by myself. And everytime since i didnt practice enough or didnt play for like a whole week. 1 video from sungha gave me back the love to play my guitar and i kept practicing :) Sungha Jung helped this world only by uploading videos
@patturnweaver9 жыл бұрын
the amazing thing about sungha is how versatile he is. he can play the slower more subtle music as well as the fast frenetic type of music. it is probably easier to elicit strong emotion with the fast energetic style of music. but it's the slower subtler music that shows how amazing sungha is.

Julie Loft - in telling you - it's not just us. We are latecomers to his bandwagon. He was probably the first viral guitarist and because he's unique in that he was incredible as a kid, he has fans beyond those of us that like instrumentals. People identify with him because you can see his development and his maturation process/aging in his videos. Plus if you play guitar somewhat, his arrangements on top of his play are so much better than nearly everyone else - it's hard not to like him.

Lyrics I'm so tired of being here Suppressed by all my childish fears And if you have to leave I wish that you would just leave 'Cause your presence still lingers here And it won't leave me alone These wounds won't seem to heal, this pain is just too real There's just too much that time cannot erase When you cried, I'd wipe away all of your tears When you'd scream, I'd fight away all of your fears And I held your hand through all of these years But you still have all of me You used to captivate me by your resonating light Now, I'm bound by the life you left behind Your face it haunts my once pleasant dreams Your voice it chased away all the sanity in me These wounds won't seem to heal, this pain is just too real There's just too much that time cannot erase When you cried, I'd wipe away all of your tears When you'd scream, I'd fight away all of your fears And I held your hand through all of these years And you still have all of me I've tried so hard to tell myself that you're gone But though you're still with me, I've been alone, I'm alone When you cried, I'd wipe away all of your tears When you'd scream, I'd fight away all of your fears I held your hand through all of these years You still have all of me ah, me ah, me ah

Not a day goes by where I don't listen to one of your covers.. It's just so amazing how polish and classical you sound.. you have the guitar singing for itself.. I have chills, and isn't that what music should all be about. Not the stupid crap you hear on the radios these days.. I could listen to this anywhere anytime and it's because of you I started playing guitar again. I hope to become as good as you someday and find the beauty in what your playing.. Lastly, I would just like to say something to all the negative commenets on not only this video but every other one. I just tend to see hate towards him because hes asian and its just not right.. he's a human being just like the rest of us with an amazing talent he most likely worked really hard for.. Don't mistake your jealousy with hate, instead you really should be looking up to people like this.
@myguitartwerks78259 жыл бұрын
I agree.. A lot of people who don't make music the classical way like this shouldn't be more popular and make the millions. The people with the actual talent should be getting more attention. The music you hear on the radio is most likely around 85 percent autotune. This stuff right here is real raw music. It's sad that the music people are into these days are plain crap and are autotuned. People aren't focusing on the raw material anymore. The people that say that they love music and only listen to stuff on the radio that is autotuned are not true music lovers. honestly. This stuff is real. This is real talent people should pay attention to. Sungha Jung is one of my favorite musicians for his ability to actually use talent for his music.
