I know they played 3 spinners. Padmore, Imtiaz and Jumadeen. Michael holding may have been new comer but was tearway fast bowler and considered amongst top 2 WI fast bowlers ( with Andy Roberts) . The same Holding troubled India in the 4th test at Kingston, Jamaica. So you can’t say that India scored against the rookie. Bernard Julien was also a good swing bowler who troubled good batsman. West Indies played their best bowlers in that game as it was supposed to be spinning track. No matter what the bowling is, scoring 406/4 in fourth innings was not easy and all top Indian batsman contributed to the victory. Amarnath played a Lion hearted innings of 85 and vishwanath scored 112. And this is not the only time Gavaskar scored in 4th innings. Remember the 221 at oval in 1979 chasing 438. India could have won that game if not for some bad umpiring that cost Vishwanath and Yashpal wickets. When Gavaskar got out India were 389/4 Rest of the batsman coul 5:01 d not score 48 runs. Absolutely correct... Rishabh pant is Stupid and always played Risky shot and Threwing his wickets.. Putting India in trouble... Team management and Batting coach must teach him game.
