I love this video! I would love to see more videos because my daughter is Afro-latina (I'm African American her dad is Ecuadorian and puerto rican) her hair is very different then mine and Im just trying to retain length because her hair was going crazy and not it seems to have slowed down and I see a little breakage in the front. So I think I need new styles and products. Thank you for sharing.

The good news is (I’m half African American and half Puerto Rican) the way you care for afrolatina hair is not all that different than how you care for African American hair. The curl pattern is probably notably different, but the texture and fabric of the hair is probably similar (tangles somewhat easily, gets dry, etc.) For me (and when my daughter is old enough) weekly deep conditioning and twistouts will be the way to go to prevent breakage and lock in that moisture 😊

Oh my, your daughter's hair is just like mine. I do best with shampoos and conditions without fruit and shea butter in them. A hairdresser told me years ago that fruit can dry out your hair. And I just stay away from using Shea Butter, IT IS TOO drying for my hair. Shea Butter is also a fruit. Have you tried any plain products on her hair, meaning no fruit or heavy butters? Thank you for showing the shampoo head rest, this is something I will purchase in the future. Your daughter is beautiful, she reminds me of my Neice.
