Having watched a ton of these RV type videos, including many from the US, I reckon Dave Murray must be the must professional RV presenter / salesman on KZbin. A credit to Sunliner. ps.....no I do not work for Sunliner. Hahahahahaa

Aussie's are good at designing these touring vehicles,.. much better than American counterparts in my opinion

Love it. For what its designed for best iv seen, I toured the Kimberey about 10 yrs ago in my converted hilux and would do love to do it again in something like this.

There are maybe a few things that I would change on this model or any 4x4 version - the front & rear bumpers to (backwoods sprinter bumper or hammerhead front bumper) as your current one looks a bit bulky and heavy, the next would be to upgrade the suspension with min 2" lift & tires (33X12.50R17 120S or 265/70R17 121/118S) then remove the checkered plate along the side of the vehicle and have Rhino Liner sprayed on as well as the complete vehicle to help protect against the bush and then change the toilet to a C-head composting toilet or if someone would want the Natureshead version, the other would be to incorporate a Powered Awning w/ Dimmable LED Lights, the battery system upgrade -12kWh M-Power Energy Storage System with high output alternator and 3600w inverter (Enough Energy to power your air conditioner through the night completely off-grid) 13.5k BTU air conditioner - Dometic CoolAir 2000 RTX 12V, this way you don't require the generator onboard only a High Output Auxiliary Alternator. A lot of this you cut in weight saving.

Ah Aussie RV's, no tacky interior decor like the American ones, like your Motorhomes Sunliner! One day.....

I've noticed that, I like how clean the kitchen design is.

Well-thought design elements, and an excellent video! Will you ever offer OPTIONAL convection ovens, giant microwaves, and enormous refrigerators? Not everyone plans to bake a Christmas turkey, nuke a big-dish casserole, or store food for 6 in a cramped RV, where more drawers/cabinets in those spaces would be beneficial. Couldn't the underside of the big mattress raise up on hinges to reveal a bed-size x 5 inch space beneath for critical additional storage? Next year, please consider installing: -recess a 2-dozen-bottle cabinet in the shower -a built-in safe -a deep sink you can wash boots in -a built-in 5-gallon bottled water dispenser -built-in electricity surge protector -built-in but easily replaceable canister vacuum with hose that will reach from dashboard to rear -recess several built-in vented wall sconces for holding candles when off grid -a small wood-burning stove for interior off-grid heating that can be detached and moved outside for off-grid cooking -TVs: won't be used most of each day, so how about mounting a storage cabinet over it that can be swung aside when tv viewing is desired? -several recessed wall sconces (like your spice rack in the kitchen) for candles to use when off grid.

Don't like the lay out inside,Can you change it to the way you need?
@addictiveaussie7 жыл бұрын
Impressed with the Iveco chassis and the overall layout, my biggest criticism is why the large rear storage? From my perspective I would rather have slightly more interior bench space or internal storage.
@SunlinerRecreationalVehicles7 жыл бұрын
Hello, We are glad you like it. The storage area was a deliberate decision based on research that customers who are free camping also wanted to bring lots of gear and toys with them. We certainly have other motorhomes in the Pinto range for example with a similar layout without the storage. Regards, Sunliner

@@SunlinerRecreationalVehicles Love the rear storage, well done.
@Naessey4 жыл бұрын
Patriot Jefferson Totally. As a frequent campervan traveller, the storage available, especially when freecamping 80% of time is ‘A MUST HAVE’ option. I always believe people are good, but experience shows that if they can take it i.e. bike, fishing rods, camping gear, etc - they will. When freecamping so often and leaving the camper while I walk, run, hike, fish, walk dog, etc, knowing I can leave the camper and my belongings is a ‘must’.

@@Naessey Good points Carl. I'll take your advice on board. Thanks.

If there could be a double bed above driver cabin that would mean you dont have to packup dining area every night. Then I could see this as perfect motorhome for two. But perhaps the reason its not there is keeping weight low or wind resistance...
@paulclarke62065 жыл бұрын
It has a drop-down bed so no need to make up bed everynight

The problem with anything Australian built is the cost of wages means quality is often compromised. For example look how much better Toyota’s are now that they aren’t being built in Australia.
@davidtrueslayor74745 жыл бұрын
Shouldn't this be equipped with the exhaust pipe that comes out in front where the engine is incase of going through a small water obstacle ? and is a 2.9 generator enough to handle an lengthy stay off grid ? Thanks David
@tonyn19917 жыл бұрын
2 things would be nice. One would be a glass moonroof above the bed. One of the great things when camping is looking at the night sky. Secondly, the Iveco steering wheel is pretty plasticky, and not nice to touch. Any way of upgrading to a leather steering wheel?
@jamesduff69373 жыл бұрын
I couldn't agree more Tony with the glass moonroof you mention.

need to change those duals, daily 4x4 would be a better choice.
@SunlinerRecreationalVehicles7 жыл бұрын
The Iveco Daily 4x4 is a great chassis - we looked very closely at building a motorhome on this platform. Our conclusion was that the Iveco 4x4 Daily only allows for very short floorplan. For the type of travel that our customers are planning and at this price point we felt our customers are looking for a design with more internal space than an Iveco 4x4 could accommodate. Regards, Sunliner

As EMTB's ( electric mountain bikes) are expected to sell more units than new cars in the very near future and are very expensive. just wondering if they fit into the storage locker. better known as the garage. is the locker door wide enough to fit the handle bars in.

Hi Jade, A washing machine can be easily added as an aftermarket option. It wasn't inclded as standard as we anticpated that many Habitat customers would be cautious in about water use. regards, Sunliner RV
