Sunny Beach, Bulgaria, massive resort upgrades!

The southern areas of Sunny Beach in Bulgaria are getting new paving , street lighting and roads. This is an enormous improvement for those staying here from now on. Added value to the many new apartments being put up as well. We walk and film the long stretch of works from the river in Sunny Beach to the roundabout at New Nessebar.

Thanks for that. Have seen drone footage of the improvements but great to see on the ground video. I have apt on beach side near Rose village . Always a nice area to stay, away from the madness in the centre . Nice to see lights and pavement improvements . Thanks

Certainly looks much better but obviously a lot has been built last few years and it was desperate for improvement. Evenings will have a different feel with new lighting in place.

Cheers brings back memories from years ago I'm sure I walked that same road over the smelly river bridge from behind my sister's hotel continental prima up to the Serbian grill I even remember going in the boutique that hass boss sign in the window .thanks 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Glad you enjoyed it. Yes the continental is not far from the start and you probably passed the nice designer shop. In summer there isn't much water there, after all its about 4 inches deep as it crosses the beach.

Thanks for showing the Rome, looks well nice compared to the Grand that we got transferred to last year but not so central but supposed that's the price you pay. The Rome is further out but you can cut through to busier areas. In peak season. It's best to be away from flower street and just dip in.

🌞😎 Thanks for showing the weather is improving and they are doing work on the paths on the road I do know that area very well Especially when I go down there on my push bike To the fishing taco shop in the Marina Glad to see there are some improvements happening before I get happening before I get there in 2 weeks time The most exciting thing happening right now in the uk England where I li'm in the uk England where I live Is rice week is coming up Big horse racing week and lots of Irish people will come over from Ireland for that week And guess what the beer prices go up I don't know what the prices are beer are now in Sunny beaches But I do hope they're not too bad Look forward to going to the Condor A couple of beers and something to eat is always good there If I do see you In Sunny beaches I will always offer to buy you a drink If not a beer tea or coffee it doesn't matter 2 weeks ago and then it'll be all fun in the sun Happy days

Lots of shops and stalls stocking up now. When clocks change lighter evenings make it feel better. We had amazing night at white rose in Nessebar, prices same as couple of years ago.

We stay at the galeon spa and residence up the south end. Can’t recommend enough. Staff are amazing brekkie never fails to please and the restaurant attached to it is very high class and reasonable prices. Been 8/9 times to the hotel always impressed

Looks very good, glad you have had great stays there. Its an area that is improving very fast, we filmed it a couple of times last year and its going to be amazing when the work is finished.

Hi Patrick, I have had this drone 2 years now, it's a DJI mini 2. They now have the mini 3 launched a few months ago, very small and light but you will find being under 250 gram it's use is not so restricted in Western Europe now.

Those shops at the start of the video have got some really nice clobber in. Probably the only place in Sunny beach that sells the genuine articles. Not much different to UK prices though. There was a brilliant Indian restaurant on the side street running next to the Del Monte Residence called Mind the Step. It was run by some brothers from Wolverhampton. Brilliant food albeit UK prices but a terrible location hence it closed years ago. The building has been empty ever since. Talking of UK prices, shopping in Aldo is as costly as shopping in Harrods as you alluded to. Great video as always.

Do you have footage of Garden Nevis Hotel in any of your videos? Coming to Sunny Beach in middle September but aren't many videos on the hotel... Also what is the weather usually like? Been told different things from different people. Thanks

Not got that one on a blog, mid sept will be mid 20's.. most will be open and plenty in the pools and on the beach. Only night clubs and aqua parks will be closed as few youngsters.

Most closed end of September. However still bars open like condor, diamond . To eat out it's worth the bus to Nessebar as a normal town and choice all year and only a couple of miles away.

Rome palace looks bonnie, I met a family that stayed there that said it was lovely but the rooms were a bit pokey

They enjoyed it that's good, but I would not be in the room very much in the season.
