i assume that’s because the stab function used here is the one that omori uses in headspace, so it changes the player’s sprite to omori to do the stab. i have no idea why it changes to sunny laying in bed at night at the end though… maybe the game detects that you’re in the rw so it assumes you’ve just gotten the stabbing neutral ending and switches sunny’s spite for the ending cutscene but realizes that it’s not one day left yet so it just warps you back to the house??

⁠@@a_music_nerdI’m pretty sure it uses Sunny’s sprites for falling down is because it uses the sprite number for Omori falling, which is different for Sunny. This is more clear while stabbing yourself as other characters. It also probably changes to Omori because it’s the Headspace stab which just sources Omori’s sprites before the falling sprites are used for the character.

It’s not the fact that the stab did so much damage, it’s that Aubrey’s dialogue for being attacked with the steak knife only triggers when Sunny uses an attack. However, Stab is a Skill, so it bypasses this check.

I thought that it was because sunny did so much damage that the game triggered the "win by beating aubrey up without stabbing" dialogue instead of triggering the mid-battle event where she talks and stops the fight (which normally leads to the cutscene where aubrey falls down wounded)
