Used to be a very large Irish community. Catholic Church down the street played bagpipes a lot.

I lived at 43-33 48th street, in Sunnyside. My family moved to Long Island, on 3/28/60. I was in 6th Grade, at St. Sebastian's, when we moved.

I lived on 44 th St and 48th Ave for 2 years. It was a great place in the early 80's.

lived in a basement apt of a private home in 1968.paid $ 20.00 a week. nice area.

I rented a room here in the 1980's. Downstairs made noise, I kept calling the police and later the noise stopped.
