Syngoniums Are WAY PRETTIER Than I Thought! 30+ Syngonium Tour & Care Tips | Plant Collection Ep. 3

Welcome to the third episode of the Plant Collection Series! In each Plant Collection Series episode, I will visit one local plant friend who has a big collection on one type of plant. In our previous episodes, we talked about Hoya and Peperomia. There are so many of you that requested an Aroid episode! Here you go! In today’s episode, let’s talk about Syngonium (Arrowhead plant)! Jeff is a big Syngonium collector in the Kansas City area. He has over 30 Syngoniums at his house with 20+ varieties and cultivars. I’ve never thought about Syngoniums could be that pretty until I saw his collection. He is also going to share some Syngonium care tips with us today!

Eli . I got my Neon and Erythrophyllum from Steves Leaves and my Regina Red from Gabriella Nursery and my Podophyllum Albo and Podophyllum Aurea Yellow Variegated from Exotica Tropicals. I got several more from ebay and collector friends backyards in Florida. They all grew fast.

Got a mini pixie synogonium from Home Depot today. It is so darn cute! It appears to be bushy currently. Do you think it will eventually get leggy? Any tips?

I don't think so. Pixie is the petite size. It will grow taller and bigger but I don't think it will get as leggy as the other regular syngoniums.
