Please do your part to help keep bike lanes unobstructed -- this reduces the chance that a cyclist needs to merge into traffic.
If you need support from law enforcement for an obstructed bike lane, you can cite CVC 21211. Specifically, CVC 21211(b) addresses objects placed in bike lanes.

Once for a few weeks, I lived in a house that had an alley in the back for trashcans and garages. Kept all the noxious things stuffed in the back. Makes me wish we had those here.
