Clattenburg had a motif in the original franchise that whenever the boys were down bad or at their lowest or something was not to be trusted a dog appeared in the scene or the shot. As in dogs are the complete opposite of Bubbles's POV: That the world's a better place with wonderful kitties in it. This motiff was repeated consistently throughout the original series and movies in the Clattenburg era which culminates in the many stray dogs on Bubbles' bus house property in Ontario when he decided on living i it and leaving the boys for good in Clattenburg's final thing and movie, 2014's "Don't Legalize It" (coming out just 5 months before the boys version starts on Netflix).

Grew up in trailer parks from Ottawa to Edmonton, Tulsa to San Gabriel Calif. All the dogs ran loose with the kids; you never worried about the kids. And never stepped once on dog crap. Now?? I step out and into dog crap all the time in a city with houses.

@@adolescentwombat We had ONE incident in Wichita where dogs had to be leashed. It's 105 F. during the day and the poor husky was under his trailer trying to keep cool. My brother ran by and the dog snapped at him. That's the only "issue" I can remember in all those years. You tie dogs up and they don't feel in control. Neither do i!!

I prefer cats, they don't stink (mostly) or bark. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, I love the dogs but if I was forced to pick, I'd choose my cats. Dogs are way too needy, I can't leave either of my dogs alone without them barking for hours on end. But I do love both animals, don't get me wrong.

And I've seen cats do things that I've never even seen a dog attempt. Cats are smarter in general but there are certain dog breeds that can compete.
