Celebrate one of the most majestic means of transport with a peaceful hot air balloon flight over the rolling hills and lush vineyards of the Temecula Valley. Visitors can take in a panoramic view of Southern California’s unique topography, beautiful estates, and awe-inspiring scenery with sunrise flights.
Our call time was 4:30 am in Temecula for a sunrise ride. We arrived at the Starbucks and the pilot and assistants were chatting around a large van with a balloon basket attached to their vehicles. We checked in, sat in the van and they drove us to a different place where they inflated the balloon.
No door on the balloon basket so you have to climb into the balloon. There were 8 passengers, and 1 pilot in our balloon.
We saw many other balloons in the air. It was a beautiful hour-long ride. The pilot was super friendly and educated us on some of the history of the properties/landmarks we were flying over.
While they packed up the balloon, they gave us some mimosas and cookies. Then took us back to Starbucks to get our cars.
