With Nate’s following, this might be a turning point for Sunrise. Was there years ago. Raw was describing it nicely. Back then it was unkept and poorly managed. Looks much better now. It has TONS of potential!! Let’s hope this video brings help to the cause. Thanks Nate for posting.

So glad you put out a video of this park. We are in the process of making a 3 part series of Sunrise Park, with one video already being out. We are Arizona locals and want to put this park on the map even more so.

Also hoping the park grows and succeeds. Such a fun place to ride!

@@natehills9388 Yes, it's one of my missions, to help put the park even more on the map; and since you did a video there, it certainly helps. I am hoping to take the baton and keep going with it. I know they have a small budget but hopefully with some more exposure they can improve a bit. Again, Thanks for putting your video of the park together.

My kinda stuff... trails that don't look made for mountain bikes in some areas. That drop in at the beginning was sick! Nice and raw for a bike park. Kinda like Purgatory in Durango.
@natehills93882 жыл бұрын
Definitely more natural and less "park". So refreshing to see in today's world of creating sidewalks through the woods and calling them "trails".
@petedog95812 жыл бұрын
@@natehills9388 100%. I only ride hiking trails anymore. The mtb trails are crowded, which is good overall, but not much of an escape from society. I am all for the growth of the sport ultimately. The trail access we have now compared to 30 years ago was once unimaginable in many parts of the country...it is worth getting annoyed by crowds. I will always have my "secret" trails too.

Looks like some nice trails. I went to their website to look around. For only fifteen trails, $159 for the season isn't terrible but not great. $35/night for DRY RV camping is nuts; for that I would at the very least expect access to fresh water and a dump station. The location isn't bad... about 3.5 hours from the Phoenix area. I'm generally not a fan of Indian-owned businesses, because they usually funnel that money into anti-American activist causes like shutting down our public lands, but some Googling suggests these aren't doing that (yet).
