Sunrise wave painting demo - timelapse | in studio with Mark Waller

This was a pretty quick sunrise beach image painted in an afternoon, and done mainly for some shots for our Sunrise Waves - Tiny Moments shorts (you can check that out here: • Sunrise Waves - Tiny M... ). A lot of you have mentioned that you find it really helpful watching these time lapse videos, so we hope you enjoy this quick clip in ffwd!

Your colour mixing is incredible. Since you use such a big paint palette, I doubt your brush is clean so you might still have some dioxine purple on the brush with a lot of white and cad yellow medium.

Mark said he uses cadmium yellow medium above water, and cadmium yellow light below, under, water... So i guess he has used one of them.... Perhaps yellow light for the more subtle, less intense, reflected light... Cadmium yellow light with white ...

This beauty in their home will certainly lift their spirits 😀💕💕🏞🌈💃🤣 i guess at 2.33, Mark is using naples yellow, probably with white, titanium white. Just a beautiful painting! I think I was drawn to this one because of that color combination I don’t know how precise we need to be, but my guess is in order of highest ratio: Loads of Titanium White, tad yellow (warm hue), even smaller tad purple (redder hue) I think it could be also pulled off subbing a red-blue combo for the purple, but judging from the greater context of the painting I think you might have used a purple. I got a distinct sense of purple in there but maybe the contrasting colors have me fooled 😊
