Sunriver Loop Trail Sunriver, Oregon

What a great day biking the Sunriver Loop Trail in Sunriver, Oregon! This is a very easy and flat, paved bike path that starts near the main lodge in the Sunriver Resort and winds around the airport, the equestrian center and stables, the river and the golf course. This trail is perfect for families and kids! It can be walked, but since it's about 5 miles long bikes are best with kids. You can get a map of the entire resort from the main lodge.
Sunriver and the Sunriver Resort is located about ten minutes south of Bend, Oregon on Highway 97. There are literally thousands of rental homes, condos and cabins, as well as five-star hotel rooms and accommodations. There's also an unending amount of things to do from swimming, shopping, hiking, biking, horseback riding, skiing, sledding, dining, golfing and more.

The Great Hall is not quite 100 years old. It opened as the officers mess for Camp Abbot in April 1944. It is the only building remaining from Camp Abbot and was restored when Sunriver was developed as a vacation resort.

What is the water level of the river now ? Just curious since many rivers and lakes evaporating due to climate change....! ! ! Thanks

Clark, I haven't been out to that specific section in Sunriver lately, but I just hiked the river trail in Bend this morning and it's definitely low! We also canceled a camping trip we had planned up at Crescent Lake because it was already low when we went in June, and now our local news is saying it could be almost empty by next month. It's scary...

That's on the Steelhead Falls Trail in Terrebonne, OR. It's a little hard to find but worth it! Beautiful trail!
