Visiting this historic and ever beautiful treasure has become a yearly tradition for us. The magical and completely marvelous thing about Rose Island is that it is an unabridged compilation of almost every single thing we love: nature, the ocean, historic abandoned structures, ghosts (we can report that it is definitely haunted!) and of course, the lighthouse with its gorgeous fresnel lens and magnificent views of the Narragansett Bay.
