Instead of a colorswitch I use a hair donut. I'm convinced its the same material and you can get them at the dollar store.

Thats brilliant too!! My fiance is a contractor and ended up bringing a huge roll of that material since its sold at home depot too 🤣🤣🤣 idk what it's called but it was dirt cheap. So i just cut a circle out when i need to change mine. im pretty my future kids will have this roll leftover 🤦‍♀️😂

i actually didnt mind this style of tutorial!! it takes me back to the old beauty guru days when everyone did eye makeup tutorials super zoomed in. u can see in a lot more detail and i feel like this would help me learn a lot better!!

Cat's Eye you know those donut for doing perfect ballerina bun ? They where all the rave a couple years ago. It is PERFECT as a brush cleaner / Color change pan and you can find it in pretty much every dollar store ❤️

Walgreens has a version of their own Color Switch, fyi for anyone interested. It's square though. It's with the makeup brushes and makeup sponges, etc. Im pretty sure it was around $4 or under. Works perfectly. I know some people also use those Dollar Store hair bun maker thingies....it's basically made of the same material, but it's in the shape of a somewhat puffy donut. No holder for it obviously, but if you just hold it in the palm of your hands as is, it can work too, and they're literally $1.

I have been doing extreme makeup for years... the way she does the winged liner is so amazing. She makes it look like a cake walk, in all my years of experience i STILL TO THIS DAY can not do winged liner. I have practiced and tried all kinds of different liner types, and still can't to it. I really loved seeing it all close up !!! I think the very few imperfections that I could actually see made me feel so much better about my own makeup. It made it seem real and actually achievable! I can never see what the heck you tubers are talking about when they say “ see how you can see the foundation is sticking here” or “ see, how patchy this shadow looks here” points to place that I can’t tell a difference. When I did my review on this palette, I started with the darkest shade & worked to light, by coincidence, as that’s the way I create (those type looks), but I had a HORRIBLE experience; couldn’t get the shadows to stick no matter what I did, not to mention the horrific reaction I had to the shadows. But, I’m glad you enjoyed, and are getting value out of, the palette. For me, it’s a paperweight. =( Congrats on teaching 500k, Hun. Christi Caballero so funny, I was actually thinking this palette looks like it behaves a lot like subculture did... fascinating that everyone ripped that palette to shreds while everyone seems to be very forgiving of the shortcomings of this Morphe palette 🤷🏻‍♀️ Even with Kristi’s formidable makeup skills, that crease still looked unblended with those dark lines you get from shadows that won’t blend/are too pigmented Edit: after she cut the crease, it looked fine... but what about people who don’t want to do a crazy cut crease look? This palette just ain’t it

The palette is great in theory and so beautiful, unique and versatile. However, I feel like it’s more so for makeup artists and experienced makeup enthusiasts. It’s not beginner friendly or even easy for casual eyeshadow wearers which sucks. The super pigmented shadows look great if you’re talented enough to blend but the average consumer doesn’t have 30-45 minutes for an eyeshadow look. Most people have a half hour or hour max for a full face (not just eyes) and can’t be bothered with a bold eye look. Idk maybe that’s just me. I would love to hear from people who own this palette and are not influencers or makeup artists! I think you can wear color without spending a ton of time but this palette is probably not the best one to do it with just based on many influencers’ tutorials.

Elisa Shay I’m glad I’m not crazy. I never picked it up because I just knew it would be way too hard to use. No matter how beautiful everyone’s looks were I knew it would not give me the same results. I’m good at makeup specifically eyeshadow but I’m not good enough to do these bold looks. But props to everyone who is because they look great. I’ll stick to my other morphe palettes.
