This is a very meaningful song, this mv promotes going to the west side beach of South Korea , that location previously damaged by oil spill and ruins the tourism , and so Bigbang made this remake song to show people its safe already thus the funny MV. Sunset Glow is not a B-side song. This is one of the most important songs of BB early. Because it is written into the music textbooks in Korea, which is very rare for idols. GD wrote 4 very important songs for BB in the early days to help them stand firm on the throne. BB's trilogy to the top is Lies, Haru Haru, Last farewell, and this adapted Sunset Glow. This song is also a must-use song for company team building.😂

This was an existing Korean song GD (with permission) changed up. I believe the mv supported coastal towns that visiters had stopped going to or people weren't buying fish from on the West Coast of Korea after I think an oil spillage, and visitors started going back or buying fish after the mv. I don't remember where I heard this and have just tried to check it out - there was a huge oil slick disaster in December 2007 and Sunset Glow was recorded probably August 2008. Can't find anything else though. Is there any other fan that remembers something about this - or did I just imagine the whole thing!!!!!!

I forget sometimes that they are so intentional with their music. Using their platform to shine light and bring business to these towns. The song is great also. Thank you for this Information Mary

@@Mary-i5c1m no it is right. People stoped to go to west sea and buy sea food there and local bussines was in trouble. In the mv they gather people and go to beach and eat from local food to show it is not dangerous anymore

@@reihanehsadegh3771 Thanks for confirming - I began to doubt myself! I know their version of the song is popular even today. I thought when it was released it charted for several months. Looking at their wiki discography though, it shows it didn't enter the charts at all in the stats section, but in the written section above says it was a commercial success. Think there is something I don't understand about stats section as it says Haru Haru only reached number 181, but in the writing part, says it reached number 1 for 8 weeks and then another 7 weeks.
