Thanks for the ride-along Archie. So sad to see the flood damage.

Every time I see the ride being 20 or so minutes, I pop a bottle of cold beer and jump on the Little Fox for the ride along. It's fun.

I love it when you let Zorrito run. It is fun see that rail going under you so fast. Sorry for the rails missing. They must have needed it for an active rail. Roll on Zorrito!

This is my first and what a brilliant channel this is!!! I am from the UK - would be nice if it can be done in the UK as we have so many abandoned lines thanks to Dr Breeching!!! However, there are hardly any tracks around! Keep up the good stuff 😊

Double bad luck today on one side the rails are being removed, and on the other side the water has destroyed the rails, I hope the next trip will be a nice long one, thank you for sharing Archie ;-)

I find things I didn't expect. But I'm going to continue looking for abandoned rails. Here I have to go from Horn to Kofa. Arizona
@stanleybest88336 ай бұрын
gracias. Abandoned rails are nice places to look for a place to buy...homestead. it would be nice, repaired, and used for freight and more homemade trains.

This SP line goes from Wellton to Pactacho. The line was embargoed after vandals derailed am Amtrak train. The territory is dark territory..no signals

Hard to believe someone would steal 1 mi of rail as it only pays a a few cents per hundred pounds and its a ton or work to receive so little in exchange. I was hoping youd go back to the Carrizo bridge and do the other end form north to the blocked tunnel. Thanks
@TEMPLE7D5 ай бұрын
A few cents per 100lbs? Lol are you sure?
@jimfacinelli25855 ай бұрын
@@TEMPLE7D I get 1 dollar for every 100 lbs of cast iron radiators I take there. That's 01 a lb.
@desertbob68352 ай бұрын
Not just the scrap value, but they must've had a use for it, since no scrapper's going to buy it. Scrapping stolen rail is a Federal felony. It s worth a lit more than a few cents, too...that's high manganese content steel, not iron, even if most of it out there was 1926 vintage CF&I 120 lb rail.
@jimfacinelli25852 ай бұрын
Was supposed to sat per lb. You are correct. Tkx

I'm curious who is ripping up the old rails -- the railroads that own the line still? Are they reusing it? Not sure why they'd be ripping up decades old iron in the middle of nowhere.
