Sunset Shores ~ Making Cold Process Ocean/Beach Soap for the Design Mania Contest ~ Sculpted Layers

I did a little something and entered this Sunset Shores soap into the annual Design Mania competition from Making Soap Magazine. It didn't turn out quite as I had envisioned, but I wanted to give it a shot anyway, especially after a push from a certain friend!
The bars are scented with a seductive scent reminiscent of pink sand beaches and turquoise seas, a blend of salty florals and marine aromatics with key notes of pink sea salt, sagebrush and gardenia. It's soft and sweet, very fresh and absolutely incredible! These are available for preorder in my shop.

AHHHH. as always our designs are so so lovely.... the gradients seem quite time consuming to make but theyre so worth it for the result! the outline on the sun does help it stand out better i think it was a good choice ^_^

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoy them! The technique itself isn't as difficult as patience-trying. It can take a while for the soap to set up enough to get a distinct scrape. You do have to know the basics of cold process soap making as well.
