So much planner love in one video. I really like the idea of the 5yr journal. Buying a journal to match stickers, is music to my ears. I think many people have fallen off the Goodreads wagon, which is a shame but the platform changed its M.O. some of the comments from people where, um weird. Ive gone from rarely using a diary, to going in hard with bullet journalling for a year, to burning out with the system. To a dumpster 🔥 year and I cracked and bought a 2024 page per day rainbow edged, red plether cover, in an A5. I am shooketh at how useful it is, along side my digital calender with my alarms. Because ADHD and Peri-Menopause I need alarms. 😂

Bullet journaling has always been too challenging and stressful for me…staying on top of all the setups and everything is just not something I have the capacity for 😅. And honestly there are so many planner options nowadays I feel like it’s gotten more likely to find one that’s set up the way you want and potentially has space to add other trackers and stuff.

Always love a planner video. ❤ I had looked at the Sakura covers - nice to hear a positive review of the shop. I have considered paper book reviewing but... this year, I got a ridiculously elaborate spreadsheet for book tracking (Katey Flowers made me do it) instead. Bring on the pie charts! I don't watch enough films or television to bother documenting. I had intended to send you some Pilot cartridges and forgot -- I re-homed my Metropolitan and now have nowhere to use them. Next time!

This reminds me that I’ve had your planner video on my Watch Later for a couple of weeks and I can finally watch it now that I’m back home from vacation!! 💖🎉 My Sakura cover is very well-made and lovely and it’s held up beautifully to daily use all year. Hobonichi’s five-year cover options are so limited and none of them have ever been of interest to me so I was thrilled to find a shop that makes such pretty ones. I’ll have to see how the paper book tracking goes for me…it’s really new but I liked the idea of being able to mix commonplacing with reviewing in the same book because I’ve always wished I did more commonplacing. 😆

Platinum Carbon Black has been a little wonky in my medium Pilot Metro. I'm about to switch to a TWISBI Eco bc I love that ink. May have to check into the Hobonichi options. Last year found I'm not a good or consistent bullet journal planner😅

Ok I’m glad I’m not the only person who had that experience with the Carbon Black-I tried it in both my Metros and it just wouldn’t behave. I’m the same way with bullet journaling…just can’t keep up with all the setup it requires! The Hobonichis have been a great alternative for a structured planner for me 😊💖💖💖
