Thanks mate. It's hard now because I work so much and my focus has shifted to family and career, which I am doing very well with. I just turned 50 so my YT days have definitely slowed down. Where you using the old shimano Sahara ? I still use it in 2019 and love it the only bad thing is the drag sound busted

Mangrove jacks are rarer than a polar bear in the Sahara Desert in the Mooloolaba river... awesome video though! should try in the Noosa river if your after some jacks ;) keep up the work!

what softies are you using and what jig head size? also what retrieval do you use ?

+Liverpoolboi96 The plastic that paid of that morning was a Z-MAN grub in watermelon (2 inch). The retrieve that worked best was 3-5 quick flicks and keeping the plastic within the bottom third of the water column.

I don't though from memory it was a Daiwa setup. Visit your local tackle store and they'll be able to set you up with something similar 😉
