Absolutely gorgeous. I haven't seen the chocolate creeping Jenny where I am but it is sooo beautiful. I planted up my fall pots a few weeks ago with Sunshine Ligustrum and surrounded them with blue and white violas. How often would you water your container and would you fertilize at all during the winter?

Sounds great! I would only water if you're not getting consistent rain. You want your soil damp, but not soaking wet. Sunshine ligustrums especially don't like soaking wet feet. You could certainly fertilize with some water soluble fertilizer if you notice the violas looking pale green with less flowers.

thank you for all videos. I have a question; how do I take care of my pansies in the south when I plant them in the wall with other shrubs? do I need to fertilize it and wouldn't that disturb my other perennials since they need a winter break?

Great question! I typically don't fertilize my pansies but you could put a bit of slow release fertilizer just around the base of the pansies.

Rule of thumb is 2 zones hardier. I'm 6 too and have 2 blueberry bushes in pots out on the deck year round.

How long do you leave a shrub in a container? Is there a threat that the cold with kill the shrub or crack your pot in winter? We are just south of Winston-Salem,

You could leave it in here until it becomes root bound (2-3 years?), and I don't worry about this pot cracking. I've had it outside planted for multiple Winters and it has always done fine.

It's hardy in zones 6-10, and no it is not a PW.
