Excellent review of an excellent fragrance. It's my favorite Amouage and that's saying something as I really love the house. I find it very strong though, so I have to be careful with the sprays.

Great review. I must bring up that there's a lot of variation between years and places of manufacture (Oman or UK.) I had a sample from 2016 (Oman version) and it was all lavender from start to finish. I got a sample in 2018 (not sure if UK or Oman)and it was a beautiful effervescent candied orange scent in the opening, a bit of lavender in the mids and dried down to a tonka/vanilla with a touch of the Amouage incense found in a lot of their perfumes. I tried another sample this year (2019 UK version) and it was a lot of lavender upfront and very similar to the 2016 sample I tried. If you are interested in this fragrance, I would definitely try in person and make sure the bottle you buy matches the batch of the tester. If I can find the 2018 batch I tried, I am definitely picking up a bottle because it was truly unique.

This one was not part of my discovery set I bought from Amouage but has really struck my interest. Enjoy several from the line such as Beach Hut, Jubilation, Reflection & Bracken Man. Great breakdown all the way thru so I appreciate the details. 👍🏼

I meant to order Beach Hut Man, but accidentally ordered Sunshine Man instead. I decided to check out a few reviews from trusted KZbinrs in the fragrance community before returning the bottle. I ended up choosing to add this bottle to my collection. This is an extremely well blended and complex fragrance that I can't stop smelling. I wasn't a fan of the initial opening, but the dry down on the skin is something to behold. I actually enjoy the dry down in Sunshine Man more so than I do in Reflection Man, and that's saying a lot. As always, great review!

Smelling this on me right now. It's very nice I agree, I'm not sure I will get a full bottle of it but it is a nice one that has some spice and warmth that leans very fall rather than summer as the name would suggest.

After initial hate for sunshine i quickly learned to love it. Today i added this beauty to my collection, now have 9 bottles from amouage minus one, lyric i have donated to my girl, to feminine for my taste. To complete my amouage collection i also will buy journey and opus 4. 10 bottles of this brand, enough to smell great for a decade. Lol

Had the same experience. Slow love for this. Kept coming back and vibing its uniqueness. Tantalizing and hard to understand. A similar complexity with orange, without the vanilla and lavender but more incense is Boundless. Amazing nonlinear frag.

Most of the hate for this one seems to come from the ardent Amouageheads out there, ugh. It's sad, because on fragrance alone, this is a well-blended, bright and aromatic juice with signature scent potential. I'd give this at least an 8 out 10 myself! Keep up the great work as always, brother. Amouage FTW! =]

I didn't watch all of it but something I find very weird and surprising is how you say Amouage and Sunshine Man brings it more to a more commercial, mainstream audience while to me Sunshine is among the hardest ones and most polarizing ones from that house or even in general. I personally can not stand it (I'm in no way shape or form a close minded person and don't care about if it's what Amouage usually does or not).

good review however it smells like WD40 spray or some sort of industrial/ machine liquid, to me. had to wash it off from wrist after a few hours of nauseating. tried it at a prominent retailer. 🤷‍♂️
