I love the vibe of this ending with the cast goofing off and all the different locations. I wish they would have kept this for an after-credits scene or something. But I think the original ending works better overall.
@laurenbruges87846 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't really call this an ending.... I mean, I know it is... But there is a reason they chose the other one. This one seems like a compilation of scenes done merely for the enjoyment of the cast, to celebrate the ending of filming. It's kind of messy, a lot less put together. I loved the movie, and I wouldn't have minded this scene at the end, but I do believe the other fitted better. It would have been cool if they did a more choreographed version of this, best of both worlds.

just wonder if the Proclaimers ever realized just what they gave, this will become a classic.

Even the name "The Proclaimers" is of religious-spiritual origin, and they were co-authors of the song along with the Holy Spirit.
@jemdragons31204 жыл бұрын
It feels more like the end of a panto, with all the cast singing straight to the camera from their respective sets and goofing off. I definitely prefer the more choreographed ending - this one doesn't fit the tone of the rest of the movie, even if it's sweet.

As someone else suggests below, it looks like fun for the cast, but it's not really an ending. It looks like that brilliant DR Who video with David Tennant & cast & crew - it's great to watch as itself but not as part of a narrative. The final scene (the non-alternative version) of Sunshine on Leith is my favourite scene of any film ever. It fills me with joy every time I watch it, and that's a lot!

Would have loved a blended version of both for the main cut, an extended ending showing both the big flash mob and the cutaways to all the characters goofing around and doing their own bits like this. Very fun to see this though.

I love this film: it's just filled with so much joy and love. Thanks for uploading this alternate ending. Hey, is there any chance that you would be able to upload the rest of the deleted scenes on the DVD? I'm in North America, so the DVD isn't compatible with my DVD player.
