Sunshine Rag (Andrew York) - Ragtime Guitar Fingerpicking

Hi Everyone, I'm really pleased to be posting again. This is another one of my favourite pieces by Andrew York, it is called Sunshine Rag. It's an upbeat Bluesy Ragtime piece with some quirky twists! My last post was perhaps his most famous song Sunburst. You can see this video on this link:

I bought ‪@AndrewYorkguitar‬Andrew York's album Perfect Sky after hearing John William's performances of Andrew's compositions. When I listened to perfect sky I loved so much of what i heard but my four favourite tracks were Sunburst, Sunshine Rag, Andecy and Lullaby. I subsequently purchased the scores and learned all 4. I really love Andrews Style. I love his use of neighbour tone harmonies, I love his modern approach to the guitar bringing in more contemporary techniques like tapping, I love the rhythms he uses in this piece in particular (which gives it a really upbeat feel), I love his use of Jazz harmonies and I love his inventiveness. He really is a great guitarist composer of the modern era. Thanks to ‪@AndrewYorkguitar‬ .
Again, this piece was recorded recently at Rokit Studios in West London. The recording and video engineering was done by Mark Rose.
This time the guitar I used is a 2011 Filipe Conde FP14 NA CW, made in Madrid.
