@@theblazingpyro5914 regular cbm seemed to work with everyone in boss rush. proto man had a janky hitbox, though. i was playing as metal man, and he melted several health bars. (forgot the actual name, but its pk3 is named classes v9fh)

I wanna download it because everyone seems to love it, but this game just looks insanely freaking difficult. Is there a mode where boss desperation attacks don't last as long or something?

You're getting prepared for these bosses. They don't all start this difficult, Sunstar is one of the final bosses and takes a few tries to practice. You also have access to all weapons while fighting him, which includes weapons that give you HP back.
