I've been debating as to which brand to join on my backup (to one day be solar) system and after watching a few of your videos I've come to a realisation; Why would I go any route other than Synsynk? You're constantly contributing to the Sunsynk channel and the amount of videos I've seen you in (long before looking seriously) really shows how valuable both you and your brand is. If there are any problems, I know Sunsynk will be front and center and you're not afraid to be in that position either. My choice - Sunsynk. Thank you for helping me after my long search!

If you put the shaving as an extra setting in the timer slots, that would be really cool - you could then, theoretically, during the day when there's solar, use this to limit how much you use from the grid, so to consume the spikes in load.

I saw the video and I understood what you described. Wish the camera would re-focus a bit faster, but ok... The reason why I'm complaing now is, that I simply do not come to the point where I can says: "that's what I need and I will use it that way". It's the same problem I have with the "smart load" feature, these inverters come with. I simply do not have an idea, under which circumstances these specific setups or modes are useful. Simply said: I miss some scenarios to finally get the advantages of these features !

I'm worried about the amount of people on the Sunsynk forum saying that there are big inaccuracies on the feed in and that the inverter takes from the grid when it's not needed. What really worries me is the lack of response from Sunsynk. Can you do anything to ease my fears?
@evil172 жыл бұрын
Agreed, first thing I have noticed here is a lack of responses to comments, people would feel more comfortable if they got answers to questions from Sunsynk.

Thank you..I'm an electrician...YOU the owner/leassor/employer is the person purchasing...a Variable Speed Drive (VSD) has over 300 settings...the Factory engineers provide the settings to the electrician...so MUST you ..& according to the OSH Act YOU the owner/leassor/employer SHALL provide the ladders, the safe site, and ensure all hazards are removed on your property...do any of you Domestic dwellers do this for your electricians? NO! So big mouth, you know another thing...the Certificate of Compliance...puts YOU the owner/leassor/employer as the responsible person, once the COC is handed over...that's MARKET Dictated Best Practice..so you Google/KZbin educated idiots can stop gunning your sparkies...we just install pal...you are the expert of the machine and site conditions...so go fly your kite elsewhere

Hi can you stop the grid from charging the battery while in grid limit mode
@onthelake95543 жыл бұрын
Does this setting exist for the Battery ? For my use limiting the battery use would be helpful.
@chrisgroothoff26113 жыл бұрын
On my current solar/battery solution I am limiting the batter rather than the grid. This tends to allow the battery discharge to be averaged out over a longer period rather than forcing the battery to discharge at maximum rate reducing the available battery when the loads are below your desired battery discharge. Also what happens if the grid is limited and the battery does not have enough capacity?

Hello, having a bit of a problem with my Sunsynk 3.6kw Ecco Hybrid Inverter. It is basically connected to a 2.5kw solar array and charges 3 x Sunsynk 5.1kw batteries. The situation is I also have another 4kw solar array on my roof with its own inverter. This simply supplies power to the house and has no batteries . It is also linked to a very good FIT and the reason the new system is connected after my Generation meter . I am noticing on my Sunsynk inverter and app that when my 4 kw array satisfies the house load the excess goes back to the grid. How can I get this excess to go towards charging my Sunsynk batteries please ?

Hi. Is my understanding correct... if I have a 5kW inverter and my generator running with peak shaving set to 2kW, I can supply a load of 7 kW (assuming the 5kW is provided from the battery or/and pv array).
@Fi7h Жыл бұрын
But your inverter can only handle 5kw so you would need a bigger inverter

The minimum setting for peak shaving power is 1000w. I have one of the smaller honda inverter generators (eu10i/eu1000i) which is rated for 0,9kVA. Would you consider allowing a lower minimum value in a future firmware version perhaps, to cater for smaller generators?
@peterboulle98357 ай бұрын
It is not actually "Grid Peak Shaving". I have confirmed with Sunsynk support that "The power calculation for grid peak shaving does not include the power of the household loads, only the battery charging power, the load power of the Load ports & the power of the smart loads. Our manual will subsequently change this as well." If you have household loads then Grid Peak Shaving does not happen as claimed. I have a SUNSYNK-50K-SG01HP3-EU-BM4
@MrSeanh012 жыл бұрын
So could this load balance even in peak demand?

Hi. This looks like what I’m looking for. I’m looking at two 5kw inverters in parallel with 11.5kw solar on roof. If off grid mode, is it possible to essentially double the critical load output when two are in parallel?

Such a shame you don't get an instantaneous reading every time you refresh the app....Their servers are very often offline, and there's no way to get the readings onto your phone directly without their servers.....Servers are now only updated once every minute - it used to be every 30 seconds (even every 30s is way too low...so every 60s is awful)
