Does the top front pivot limit the downward saddle tilt as it looks like it is almost touching the saddle rail ? . I presume it only allows the saddle to be tilted in increments and if so how small are they ?

I purchased one and i am not totally sure i'm keeping it. In my opinion since it compresses backwards it messes with your cadence, i think this was engineered for e-bikes mainly, i mean if it works for you, it works, but it feels definitely weird to me.

Does it feel weird that your reach lengthens when this is engaged while the seat comes now only down but backwards?

If you sit with a bit lean forward it feels natural. If you have a bike where you sit straight up, one that moves only vertical is better.

the seat is designed to move back as it is compressed which means that your distance to the pedal remains constant

Hello, for me, not. It’s same as before. If I driving up or rough road I feel completely same, accept it’s much more safe and comfortable nowadays for my back. Sadly I didn’t buy it earlier

There is a lighter spring available if you are not heavy enough to comped the stock spring.

have you checked the roller pins are fully lubricated? Btw if you ride your bike with this seatpost, maintenance is every 6 months, lubricate the roller pins and check for damages. No/small lubrication=not working properly
