Many thanks for showing how to remove the cranks. Never done it before and I had to remove the cranks and bottom bracket to route a cable for an internal dropper post. Cheers, Gavin

How do you remove the crank ring from the crank arm? Just loosen that fitting using the special tool seen at the 1:50 mark?

First I did was take those cranks off, replaced with Shimano SLX cranks😀

That chainring removal tool is that same with the tool provided by m6120 crank?

@@DesionWheels is this crank worth getting? There is offer to get this crank with bb for about $68 or just go to the m6100 crankset for about $125

I have a ticking noise coming from my bottom bracket area. Could it also be that the chainring is loose? Same exact crankset btw on my vitus sentier.

Chainring Pedal Could try cleaning up BB aswell

For me it was the suntour cranks Hard riding loosen the axle attached to the crank arm and it steadily got worse . Now the chain ring came loose that had a similar noise . The key is to see if there is play in the cranks puting hand pressure on both crank arms and it may take some pressure . It doesn't take much movement to creat a creak

the part your holding at 2.20 i broke it do you have any idea where i can get 1 ?

tough one, possibly your LBS, or a generic spacer/gasket may work, won't lock as cleanly though

I also broke this and was looking for the name of the piece lol, however I did put everything back together and the cranks seem to work fine.... mine just cracked but was still ring shaped XD otherwise I might have to just buy a whole new set

@@DesionWheels thanks for the info.i put it back together with it in 2 pieces its working but i am about to go to a lift access bike park and im a little worried about it holding together.

I failed on the first bit with the 8mm. It wont budge at all! Any tips or ideas please?
