Actually this park is very popular, it's just that you're there in the middle of the northeast monsoon season. Unlike Australia, seasons are not inverted here, Summer to mid fall is high season.

Sunway Lagoon is still a very popular park. You probably went during the Chinese New Year festive season where people are out and about visiting family. Or you went during monsoon season. I'm from Singapore with many family members in Malaysia. I have great memories in this park and would love to visit again

Fun fact: the pirate ship ride used to be located at Wonderland Sydney before it’s closure in 2004.

Most Malaysians prioritise bidets or water hoses ("buttspray"), which you can find everywhere, to wash their private parts, then toilet paper if the former can't be found/not accessible, which you can usually find in the main part of public toilets for you to take with you beforehand.

its chinese new year, long holiday ..alot of people went back to their hometown to celebrate / spend time with their families thus not alot of locals in the city around that period

Pretty sure the SBNO water coaster is built by Preston & Barberi but had technical issues before opening, Interlink got involved to help fix water related issues as they built the River Rapids there but nothing much has happened within the last few years so has yet to open.

The quirkiest youtube couple in the quirkiest theme park in the world! You were like 2 pin balls and the park was the pinball machine. Had to laugh how Charlotte put the rain mac on but her leggings got completely soaked 🤣. Oh and the less said about the breaks on that coaster the better, tyre breaks worn down to just slicks only you two would find such a place, lol. Fantastic stuff loving it!

An odd mix in some ways but a nice looking park. The timings are strange but perhaps it has something to do with suiting the locals better? I know you tend to stick to what you like regarding food, but it would be good to see what’s on offer for others who might visit, especially as you said this place has lots of options.

Like you kept saying “this park was weird”. You had a long wait for the one thing you wanted to ride to actually to open. Very frustrating. The bridge looked scary. I loved Charlotte’s enthusiasm to get on the river rapids and total horror when she got off. Once in a lifetime experience but I can’t see you rushing back to visit again.

Personally, I prefer over the shoulder restraints. Only reason is because I don't like hangtime. I prefer airtime. But hangtime is something I really dislike. The first inversion on the smiler has hangtime and I really didn't like it. However with other restraints like lap bars, I don't mind! G force restraints at drayton were good. But I just dislike hangtime. In small amounts yes, but on like An el loco, no chance 😂. Great video guys!!!

Sunway 😢 The company that purchased Australia's Wonderland, ran it into the ground, sold off most of the rides and demolished the rest leaving Sydney with only Luna Park which is good but has limited scope for expansion.

Trust me my friends, once you go wet (Bidet) you'll soon not regret. It is vastly more superior and way more hygienic. Think of it this way, if you had a baby and were changing it's nappy would you use dry toilet paper, of course not, you'd use a warm wet cloth or baby wipe and a drying cloth.😉

Wow that's a long rope bridge, very cool . The greenery is so lush like being in a jungle. The coaster needs some WD40 for its breaks:P LOL That huge spider on the tunnel ceiling hah. Wagon wheel was super cute!! And those cow boy boots adorable ahah Very unique park indeed!

This park has withstand the pandemic...closed for 2.5 years. The owner is a billionaire ...his empire spans from hotels, retail malls, education.like the famous Sunway Uni, sunway hospitals, property development. If fact this place was once an old abandoned mining place but the owner has turned this desolate mining place into the most successful real estate development. This park is full during school holidays, public holidays and weekend. During chinese new year the park is quiet but the Sunway prymiad shopping mall is bussing.

Another nice & good vlog, love your adventures, parks you visit. But to me this park wasn't really impressing to watch & see in my opinion. Lacks a lot of things & think its hay day has also gone. Think for future need a lot of work for improvements especially if interested in staying in business for future generations. Who knows, the log flume going could of killed it? As I think most people like log flumes when it comes to hot weather. If its not that, then maybe its something else like times, theming? I do think theming needs a massive upgrade as its lacking in all park. Think they also need to decide what is fact & fiction between coasters & new attractions especially the green coaster & water coaster? Unless they are building two? A.k.a them both & opening them both at same time? Think they honestly need a new signature modern coaster to redraw International aswell local guests back into park, for main theme park area aswell maybe a new reimagined log flume. Think if smells, maybe need to sort that out aswell, make it less more smelly horrible & smell much nicer. But weirdly sort of interesting video, think needs more new types of coasters, attractions and rides here, aswell think they need ride offering times open much earlier. But park with so much potential to be good, have to see if they make any improvements, if not. Will likely close. Cheers again for another video. 😀👍
