Steinway Artist Sunwook Kim, one of the finest concert pianists of Korea, performs the celebrated Adagio sostenuto from Beethoven‘s immortal “Moonlight” Sonata at Steinway Hall in New York City. Beethoven student Carl Czerny called the movement “a nocturnal scene, in which a mournful ghostly voice sounds from the distance.”

I can play this piece and quite well. By now I have listened to the interpretations of the majority of all great piano artists. This is undoubtedly the best interpretation of Beethoven’s Sonata in C# Minor. Thanks so much.
