Prolimit 6/4mm Oxygen & Mercury wetsuit / SUPboarder review

In this video review we look at two of the warmest wetsuits in the Prolimit wetsuit range - the 6/4mm Oxygen (ladies) and 6/4mm Mercury (mens). These are quality, top end wetsuits designed to keep you super warm during the colder winter months. Well designed and made from quality materials with STM taped seams, they're extremely stretchy and flexible, making them really comfy despite being thick. It's great to see Prolimit have included a ladies 6/4mm suit aswell as mens in their extensive 2021 wetsuit range.

Can you explain a bit more about the paid promotion notification at the start of the video - does that mean that they gave you the wetsuit free to try, but the review is unbiased, or this is a direct marketing promotion. I like the look of the suits and their specs, so your feedback will be helpful in considering purchasing. Great channel btw, with lovely views of the rame peninsula!

Hi Adrian, KZbin ask us if we have taken any money for the video, and we click yes because money is involved. We love what we do and are proud of what SUPboarder has become. We would love to produce these video for free (which we used to) but SUPboarder has grown to now be our full time job so we can't afford to work for nothing! For many of our review videos (not all) brands book and pay for video slots with us. This helps pay for our Team to ride/use the gear and production costs. Every video we produce is always honest and there to help educate the right person to buy the right product.. the kits not for everybody! It's also vitally important the brands learn how to improve their products too from the videos, and we know they value both the pros and cons we highlight. Brands have no say on what is said in the videos and they don't see the videos at all before they are live on KZbin. So, regrading the Prolimit wetsuit, what Lucy said is what she believes. She really is impressed with it and it is her winter wetsuit of choice at the moment! But the final decision is yours as with all the products we review. I’ve had my mercury 3/2 for 1.5 years. I use it a lot and it’s holding up incredibly well. The only thing that is annoying is that few retailers stock them in the UK, so I had to buy it from Europe.

Drat, only second to comment...😁 Anyway, I’ve owned my Mercury for two years and it is amazeballs, only temperature limit it wind-chill on my fingers when windsurfing (gloves only work for me when SUPing)
