Finally replacing stock rotors in front, and going from PowerStop Z23 to EBC Yellow Stuff pads, along with some discussion about my suspension setup.
Have been really happy with the Z23 pads, but after 40k miles and a lot of abuse they were very in need of replacing. For replacement I'm going with EBC Yellow stuff, along with slotted EBC rotors, to have more heat tolerance (specifically the S9 Sleeper kit).
Also a little commentary on an upcoming change to a new bypass valve to further reduce latency for the boost hitting.
I didn't discuss the rear suspension much in the video, but I am running Progress rear sway bar on the softer setting, still way stiffer than stock, and just mild rear camber of -1.

Oh ! Before I forget… you should replace the brake slide pins since they are inexpensive but don’t over lube them or they get locked up. I recently had the same issue off one pad fine and the other worn out. The previous owner Or from manufacturing had way too much silicone grease inside and made it very difficult to remove. Also I replaced the seal and boots . Thank you for sharing

Fantastic detail! The following is mostly informational for others, since Daniel knows this already, but my supercharged Mazda 3 is 2nd-gen (2012), which is a more widespread platform (Ford C1) with more brake and suspension options. That means I have more options, so I could put on the nice EBC Bluestuff pads when I got my (supercharged) 2012 out to the track for the first time. Those are possibly one of the better street/track dual use pads at a decent price, they felt great, I recommend them. It would be great if they became available for the more recent Mazda 3/6 platforms. Daniel, hope you are able to see some great results of all this effort out on a track! Thanks for the update.

Hey Daniel, what hood arms are you using to keep the hood up?

just some generic cheap ones from Ebay, they were a little annoying to install but very happy with the result, made a point to look for some that are dual arm in case one fails. I'd link to it but the ones I got are no longer valid, but I think I only spent like $40usd on them

Stock, no need to change injectors, just replaced the in-tank fuel pump with the M-Cell one from Fab9 made for the ND2 Miata
