Just responding to the few haters. Muscle cars are timeless. Ageless. Once produced, they will always have a following and will always be loved, cherished and driven the way they were intended. Classic cars like this, aren't disposable razors. They are members of a family, creators of great memories, sometimes even human in their own ways. If you don't like them, then there is always something else for you to do in the world. People like sports. Some work in an Office. We love our cars.

@Mangaluver321 Not true. If it has an engine and wheels, you'll probably end up seeing it here on the Motor Trend Channel. We have programs scheduled that feature turbos and sixes and Japanese cars and European cars, too. We'd love to show several programs a day, but for now just getting this schedule out is keeping us very busy for now. We're hoping you help make the Channel wildly popular, so we can hire more video producers and make more programs.

It doesn't matter if you're thin, fat, full of hair or balding. There's always something for Humans to love and enjoy doing. Instead of hating and judging others for their passions, why not go and do something you enjoy. Most of us here love our cars. They are our pride and passion. Not everyone can agree, but the least we can do is respect one another (or avoid each other completely)

personaly speaking, i'm not a fan nitrous. but that stems from the 1st and only time i used it. I built a blown 350 w. nitrous for a t-bucket. they made me reuse the head gaskets even though i said it wasn't a good idea. not suprisingly it blew a head gasket on the 1st dyno run. they made then do a nitrous run after that, which killed the motor. the No 3 piston ended up getting a nice hole in it and also damaged the head. it made 250hp then 150hp. school was fun & it wasn't my money or my engine
@CamaroAmx13 жыл бұрын
@JonathanRav if i remember correctly, he paid $1,500 for it. then he bought a 71 Roadrunner for $2,500 to swap the engine to the Bee and sold the Roadrunner. It's not all that suprising really. I bought my 73 AMX for $550 in 2000 (in kinda bad shape from sitting outside for 8 years). I dumped anther $800 into it and used it as my daily driver for 2 years. Around the same time I bought the AMX, i missed out on a white 71 Roadrunner for $800 in decent shape. Those deals are long gone.

@CamaroAmx I still have my AMX, but it's been sitting (outside) since 2005. I'm hoping the stars align close enough to really dig into it this year (i have been doing minor stuff to it off and on since 2003).

Big rush to meet a deadline is REAL LIFE!!! How often have you set a goal, only to say "Hey, that goal is next freekin week!!!" The deadline IS the reason to get the project done, not the other way around.. Set a date, work towards that date, work hard to get er done in time. I just want to know how much cigar was in the engine before you took it apart again...

@mercslrfan I know plenty of guys who have done that and I've helped em. Not because they booked b4 the car was done, but because it could b the first, last, or one of the bigger shows of the car show season and they wanna b there. It's so frustrating cuz you're working fast but you're not rushing because u want things to still b somewhat perfect. It's a mental thing, it's a challenge, but yet it's still fun. Just part of the game.

I could explain to you something about (what I assume) is the very rapid and ever-changing schedule of publishing that doesn't allow you the luxury of such foresight, but I'll leave it to this: Because then Freiburger and Finnegan wouldn't have hilarious videos to star in on the internet.

Couldn't compete against Ford or Chevy?! I think Don Garlits, Don Prudhomme, Ronnie Sox, and Richard Petty would all have something to say about that. The fastest drag cars in the world, the top fuellers, run 426 Hemis. In NASCAR, the Hemi was so dominant they made it illegal, twice! I can't say anything about your tastes in styling, other than that I disagree, but of course styling is always subjective. But to say that Chrysler couldn't build a car to compete is absolutely outrageous!
