Hi Todd and Steve, just want to say I love your show and have been watching for several weeks. The idea to bring in GMs is genius. I wonder if at some point would you spend a different day going over each division and consider what each team in that division would do for their first three rounds. I am a Carolina Panthers fan, but I think fans of different teams would really enjoy your perspective on what types of players teams in that division might be looking at. So one day NFC South, another day NFC East and so on.

Here to support the quality content you guys are putting out on YT. While there's some good conversations happening on major networks...I find your perspective refreshing. Keep the GM interviews coming.

Quickly becoming my favorite channel. Interviewing the decision makers is what football fans want to hear and need to hear

Appreciate you guys so much. I've been a fan of both of you since the beginning of the Scouts Inc days. I would love some show gear to wear and if there's anything I can do to help promote the show I'd LOVE to help

This has been heavy in my rotation the last couple weeks. Todd since joining The Ringer Network let i’ve done a 180 on you and I’m glad I did. You two also have a fun chemistry I feel like i’m in an office with a whiteboard watching you two cook.

The GM interviews are amazing content. I need to hear Adam Peters talk about the Jayden decision and the process behind some of the mid to late round steals from San Fran like Warner and Kittle

So glad Muench mentioned the hunter thing. As a browns fan I can certainly whole hunter is immensely talented, there are far too many holes to take a CB/WR with the second overall pick

Todd, just a note, the times where you had your arms crossed has a closed off vibe to it that visually feels a lot different than when you keep your arms more open or relaxed. You sitting with your hands in your lap, perfectly fine. Leaning to one side, perfectly fine. Arms crossed, feels like you’re uncomfortable.

I agree with Muench and I was getting crushed for it. I think DT/OT are so much more valuable. And as Todd said, the combo pick with their 2nd rounder just makes that a smarter move. Hunter is too small for what he wants to do, I'm not betting my job on him if I'm a GM
@amstel54683 күн бұрын
You don't pass on "blue players" especially when you're a team like the Patriots that don't have many..

As the first one to be called a scumbag by Todd on live, can we get some McShay's Scumbags merch?

I find myself agreeing with Steve on Hunter. Very interested to see what he weighs in at the combine. It’s almost unfair the hype that is built up around him as a prospect. Projecting his use is impossible until you see where he lands

Todd can you explain your grade on Amos. The consensus mock has him higher, curious to hear what you have seen on film to put him lower on the big board than most.

Teams who draft QBs in the first round, outside the top 5, do much better than teams who draft a QB top 5. Chiefs trading up from 27 to 10 to grab Mahomes. Bills trading up from 17 to 7 to get Allen. Pittsburgh with Big Ben. GB, Rodgers.
@timhighsmith84744 күн бұрын
You could make the argument that those organizations are simply ran better.
@FantasySportsZen3 күн бұрын
Consensus on QB1 is almost always wrong in the "modern world". I start my evals on the qbs "the masses" are hating on or nitpicking. Looking forward to watching Dart, the Duke-ND kid, and the big guy that went from KSU to OSU.

@@FantasySportsZen teams bust more often than QBs do. Sam Darnold is a perfect example. Jets were a disaster. Kevin O Connell got the most out of him during the regular season after an abysmal start to his career. Same could be said of Baker
@FilmColossus3 күн бұрын
@@timhighsmith8474 Darnold’s issue was throwing mechanics. He stepped out rather than forward, and, for whatever reason, wouldn’t fix it. He could get away with it in college because the game was just a little slower. In the pros? The pace caught up to him. The difference with the Vikings is he actually was stepping into throws, so had better strength, accuracy, etc. Same with Baker. His mechanics were excellent his rookie season then he got lazy with his lower body mechanics. After the 2019 season, Browns asked him to worked with a QB coach and he legitimately said no. Those mechanical issues always haunted him late in the game when teams really started pressing. It wasn’t until he got to TB that he changed his mechanics. Google Mayfield Trask Mechanics and you’ll see the article from 2023 or whenever it was

It’s cuz there is a system in place, GM to pick the right players and coaches, also coaches to scheme the correct plays suited for each player, and help develop these players. Just because you are a 7th round pick or UDFA doesn’t mean you can’t be a starter.

Worst move the Pats made letting Caserio leave. What a tremendous job he's done in Houston. Much respect. 👏 Meanwhile...Pats have the worst front office in the NFL. 😂😂😂

If i were the browns gm and they trade garret I would take 2 Edge rushers with whatever picks I have in the 1st round to make up for the Garret loss.

Hunter is an overrated prospect. He is only as good as his best position and he simply isn’t an elite prospect at either corner or WR. He will not play both consistently in the NFL. He is a mid first round corner prospect and a mid to late first round WR pick. If McConky went early second with essentially the same measurables to Wilson and spotless workouts, I can’t see how a similar guy could be graded higher at WR. He’s going to be a good player but he will be over drafted.

@werb242 күн бұрын
Oh for sure. We are talking about whether he’s a top 5 pick or top 15. Obviously I think he’s awesome. But I just believe you pick a guy only as high as you have him rated at his best position. And to me he’s only a 8-15
