I always found it very funny, how the older brother is the shorter of the two (unlike what one would expect), but he is the braver and more adventurous, while the older brother is the taller but the more cowardly, fearful and perhaps the most affectionate of the two... also, I like how they take the classic formula of: brave, determined and loving older brother and fearful younger brother but always with a good heart.

This is absolutely amazing! The characters here have so much personality compared to what we see in the main series titles, and the charming children's book vibes are super strong here. References are hiding in almost every nook and cranny, from the cape Bowser used to wear in the old SMB3 artwork, the familiar "spooky old building", the ending shot literally being one big reference to the Japanese anime film, to literally everything in Toad's shop (which includes the Odyssey hats, that themselves _already_ reference older Mario media). The writing is also fantastic, it really reminds me of Paper Mario and it's super impressive how DogmanSP manages to take the tale everyone is already familiar with, and retell it with a whimsical flair that gives me the same feeling I get playing Mario's best games, and that's the highest praise you can give a Mario fan work! The comic is just oozing with wholesomeness, which is a nice breath of fresh air in a world where "Mario bad. Luigi victim" videos seem to rule. If this chapter was a love letter to the Mario franchise as a whole, then the full thing must be a marriage proposal. And with a proposal like this, you've got be cuckoo crazy to say no! But enough about the comic itself, because I haven't even gushed about the actual dub! The way that this was edited really brings the art to life, the music choices were perfect, and the voices are so spot on. Bowser here sounds like the perfect blend of Kenny James and Scott Burns. But my favorite performance has to be ItsameWario as Super Mario himself. Mario talking in full sentences is a rarity, and whenever he does, it's usually promoting a thing or speaking to children, where he has to keep that happy tone, while here, Mario can express anger, confusion, or panic. I _really_ hope that this comic and this channel gets the praise and recognition it truly deserves, because in my humble opinion, it doesn't have enough.

I can’t express how this project has breached feelings that I haven’t felt in years. It’s a blessing to be a part of something this special. This is only the beginning of the journey and I already feel as though a portion of my life has changed. This, in extreme terms, is a magnum opus, And we hope you’ll join us as we take you through this beast of a story. My gosh, this is literally a perfect characterization of the world of Mario! So much insane homage is paid to Mario media from across the generations, uniting virtually everything from the mainline games to the 90’s show to the RPG games into one coherent plot. I knew it was gonna happen, but as soon as Bowser snatches Peach I yelled "You mf!" I was so invested in this story book style film I think iit has something to do with his initial motivation being resources of another kingdom which *then* switches to kidnapping Peach, when we're so used to the idea of Bowser kidnapping Peach "just because" whether therey knew eachother prior or not. this artist knows how to make a good set up and I'm excited to read more (on chapter 5 as of writing this).

this is just beautiful. This gives off that sense of child-like whimsicality to it that doesn't go away no matter how old you are.
