Cartoons like these (grew up watching Tom and Jerry, Rocky and Bullwinkle, The Inspector, Pink Panther) was why TV was awesome back then. The stuff they got going on some of the cartoon channels are pure junk (well, maybe one or two are good). You know how cartoons are sprinkled with little adult-oriented jokes that kids don't get but adults do? I just today got one about Super Chicken! You know the "Super Sauce" and how it doesn't really seem to do anything? I just figured out what it is! It's not a "super" sauce at all -- it's just the sauce! Super Chicken knocks back a good, stiff drink before going out to fight crime! I think I remember my father howling in laughter at my dogged insistence that there was no humorous significance to the fact that the "Super Sauce" was usually shown being drunk from a martini glass!🍸😎😆
