Love Ty's incredible work, and he and I also have an album in common we think is one of the best. Trapeze..You Are the Music. I heard him mention it as being one of if not his favorite, and it's mine, also I e worn out Dog Man and other songs, Ty is just an incredible guitarist. Musician.

Ty would sound good through anything. The fact that he uses solid state goes to show that you can get warmth and soul from a transistor amplifier. I use mine with a ISP Decimator noise gate and a Boss GE-7 eq . The Boss EQ slams the front end. I run my eq pretty flat.

For me, the amp alone should be enough. Orange's lower wattage solid state amps have noise issues. These are their professional level amps.

I really hope that Orange does away with the cabsim and makes it a DI out only, or at the very least add the option for a dry signal in a revision, because that DI out is garbage

colour sections is a good idea did that to my dual rec with different colour chicken heads for each channel so i can see that channel and where every knob is pointed.

it's got an effects loop. you can use any reverb pedal you want.

I'm wondering if you ever decided to go for it? The nice thing is, it's a solid-state amp. So you can just turn down that master volume and still get killing tones at totally reasonable levels. You don't have the preamp and poweramp sections working together to form Some of those desired sounds

@@SKY_DWELLER333 Oh wow! You know what, I didn't in the end. Like everyone else and their grandma, I've started running a (Neural DSP) plugin in through my DAW on my laptop or PC. It's just so damn convenient having a USB interface and headphones setup this way, and I can play along to things on KZbin. However, there is part of me that greatly desires to hook up a guitar to an Orange amp with a 4x4 cabinet and jam for hours on end.

Orange is my dream amplifier. I was planning to buy a second hand orange amplifier since I cannot afford to buy a brand new but for now even second hand I cannot afford it anymore. My mom was admitted in the hospital for two times (October 6, 2021 until October 21, 2021 and October 29, 2021 until November 18, 2021). I was the one who take care of her until now. We owe alot of money from other people just to pay my mom's hospital bill. I need to prioritize my mom's health than to my dream amplifier. My wish this coming Christmas is to have an Orange Rocker 32 Combo Amplifier or Supercrush 100 Combo. Either that two I would be forever grateful. Thank you for the giveaway. Godbless you! What’s the difference between the crush pro 120 and the super crush 100?

CR120 has selectable reverb type (hall/plate/spring), a bit more power, and sounds a bit darker/muddier. 100 has DI out and sounds a bit brighter/tighter.

Yep, kind of. 🍀 which is why we love it! Just use the gain sparingly, for creamy bluesness, and less than you would think you need for metal, so as not to oversaturate the percussive crunch. Wonderful tones are buried in there for you to dig out.🍀

If it’s just a power amp the Orange pedal baby is just that. The clean channel is the pedal baby circuit there’s no bright cap for taking pedals. If you’re playing clean without pedals you’ll want to turn the treble up when doing that.
