What size cupcake tray did you use!!! I wanna make sure they fit to the mold 🥰

Hi! I use a regular size cupcake. The diameter of the top of my cupcake mold cavity is 7cm, and also of my silicone mold for the chocolate top.

What chocolate do you use? White chips didnt work and white candy melt clumped but wouldnt melt?
@NikaBuchrieser Жыл бұрын
Hi. I already tried both. Candy melt is really bad. But if you add a little bit of oil it gets usable, but still verry thick. If the candy melt is old, forget it. The best is a good quality white chocolate. But you need to use a powder Fat Dispersible Food Colorant, because you will need a lot to reach a nice red color. You can always add a little bit of cocoa butter to make to chocolate thinner. Let me know if I helped! :)

This is a great tutorial! My question is: if you wanted to make the tops ahead of time-how would you recommend they be stored?
@NikaBuchrieser9 ай бұрын
Thanks!!!! For sure you can make them ahead. You can store them in an airtight container in some cold place, not fridge, for up to a month at least.

@@NikaBuchrieser Thanks! Just clarifying that you are saying not the fridge or freezer, just a cool place in the house?

wondering what size the silicone molds are. I'm planning on a tree cake and putting these around..could you do a video for a tree/bark cake?
@NikaBuchrieser2 жыл бұрын
Hi Christopher, these molds have a diameter of 7cm at the base. They fit perfectly for a cupcake. I just posted a picture of a tree/bark cake at my Instagram Lili et Tuli. But is just a picture, not a tutorial video. I will definitely make a video for that cake!
